I am soo lost and have no clue to understand which fittings I would need to get for the Oil Feed and the two coolant holes.

From what I was told from Evan [ sk8shorty017 ] the oil feed would require a -3 and water coolant would be -6
can anyone clarify? and which ends would you recommend? would you guys recommend using a banjo type for oil feed ? or the other type?

There are just sooo many options and even some just look the same to me haha.

Not an expert here, but from what I've read and believe to be true, my 18g turbo is essentially a T25. I've been told that a -3AN oil feed line works perfect. As far as coolant goes, I dunno.... I've currently got a -6AN with a banjo but plan to switch for a 90 fitting and a -3AN swivel end line when I get home.

Sammo, the -6 and -3 just dictate the diameter size of the hose. The larger the number, the larger the hose. So, -6 is a larger hose than -3. As far as the fittings goes, it doesn't matter what style you get or what angle the fitting is (90 bend, 180 bend, etc.) you just need something that works. You need to find out what thread is on the parts of the turbo you're trying to connect to, that way the fittings will work. You might need some type of converter from metric to AN.

OH!!! I thought the -3 or -6 are the size of the fittings LOL.

How would I be able to find out whats the threading for the holes?

Edit: Damn it. I think i would have to go to osh and buy bolts to see what thread pitch they are...arg. freakin A
I hate being completely new to something. Its freakin frustrating.

yep go to a local hardware store with the turbo and ask them to find the size for you....

for the coolant lines on my T3 i used 3/8" hose....

Right and 3/8" hose translates to -6an.

So you know what size hose you need for the lines, now it's just a matter of what fittings. Like I said you'll probably have to get a metric to AN converter.

So it'd be something like this.

12 x 1.25mm (example) to -6AN male to -6AN female hose end to the hose for the turbo side of the line. The other side depends on what you're connecting into. I think I just used a T barb fitting into the OEM coolant lines, so you won't need any threaded pieces.

BTW, you don't really need to run braided hose lines. You could just use regular rubber tubing. AN / steel braided is bling. Just reminding you incase you thought this was your only option.

Man. you guys are outstandingly awesome! *tears of joy*

Im not really worried about the oil drain because I already have the OEM flanges its just those two coolant and feeds that I had an issue with.
Also what would I tap the two coolant lines into? From what I was told, one line goes into a coolant line somewhere near the TB and the other one [???]

Also, I know this might .....well it will sounds straight newbie but where would I attach the oil feed line from? [ ?? into turbo feed inlet ] Im guessing its from the oil filter area? Would you guys recommend using a sandwich plate? Cause I did bought an oil pressure gauge.

[ yeah I know AN / Steel braided are bling but id just like to look at something nice every once in awhile haha ]

yes you can use a oil sandwich plate if you want....

some people, like me also get oil from the oil sending unit.....i replaced my oil sending unit to a braided line that ran to a tee on my firewall....

heres my oil routing....but honestly you can use the sandwich plate if you want...i just went this route cause i couldnt fit a sandwich plate on my zc....i have a oil cooler and the oil filter so it wouldnt fit with all the hoses and stuff....

for the oil feed

Oo dang. THANK U! im more of a visual learner so THANK YOU! I should be off to find out where my oil sending unit is for my hatch haha.

Edit : ONE LAST QUESTION. Installing a boost gauge. Which tube do you recommend me tapping into? The only line I can think of is the Fuel vacuum line. Would that line be recommended? Cause from what ive read around, it does not give a fully accurate reading.
