alright im fina be ACTIVE on this thread! dam kensai talked me in 2 it. well i got a 98 ex coupe as many of you know... yes it an automatic as kensai likes to point out. i really dont care i know how to drive stick i just got it because it was a good deal. yes i was with kensai the day he got his s**t jacked, f**kin jackers... anyways yeahhhhhhh.

damn kill switch was causing the havoc. cut 3 wires and reconnected the main ignition wires. BOOM starts..

I wonder if that's what's wrong with my car....



I finally settled on a bike. Redline. I really wanted Haro, but they ones they have here are hella heavy. this one i am riding on is 22lbs.
looked into Powerlite Spitfire also, hella old bike, but hella light.

s**t i think the alternator is dead. i had to jump start the car today, it started and i drove off about a few houses and the engine cuts out while i was driving and i tried to start it again while it was moving at like 30mph. rpms went to 2k and died. pulled over under a shady tree thankfully. pushed it back home with my uncle and a friend that was at the park.

and now the car wont start with a jump

it still cranks at least.

turn the car on and take the negative out while it's still running. if it dies it's the alternator.

by turn on you mean start the engine? lol that aint happening. Already tried to jump start the car again, didnt work this time. i cant test the alternator.

well if it's still clickiing when you turn the key, it may be something else. Usually when it's the alternator, you can't even hear a click when try to start the car. Ignition switch? maybe that's bad? have you checked your fuse? main relay?

it cranks, just no start. im gonna check the main relay.

its probably something so small and stupid that ive overlooked.

you know what, my starter was fine too. actually when i took the starter to Kragen to have them test it, its' perfectly fine. But I decided to upgrade the starter to a higher crank and now it hasn't died since. oh and ground your car well. it may be the grounds for your lights that might be doing it too. or a leak on your batter as someone mentioned on here before when i asked around

i'm sellingmy civic and i'm not buying one unless it's my project...no more daily driven damn it. lol.
I might go with a car that can go on a togue run...evo? sti? 240 even.
