Yeah, I work for a f**ked up company..

I get two weeks paid vacation every year but I'm forced to take those on the week of the 4th and the week between Christmas and New Years. It seems to be the norm in the jewelry business that manufacturing companies shut down those two weeks. I can come in and work during the week and make some money but who in their right mind, unless you need the money, would do that? lol

So we get our two weeks now and it screws me up during Christmas because I pretty much go a week without pay. I can ask them to split it but I figured I'm not guaranteed to be here for Christmas, might as well take them both at the same time.

$3000 and I have a check from State Farm for $2000 and should be getting one more from them (circa $1000)...I bought it in 2002 for $7500, meh not too bad

Lol, it got broken into two weeks ago (which caused me to sell it) so I got a check from them. They still need to settle what was stolen (deck, sub, amp, etc.) and so there will hopefully be another settlement there.

So I'm debating about whether I keep my car and do a transmission swap on it for next year or pick up a vsm ej8 and transfer all my mods over.

I'm not a fan of manual swaps, buy a new car and transfer that's my advice...

Lol, it got broken into two weeks ago (which caused me to sell it) so I got a check from them. They still need to settle what was stolen (deck, sub, amp, etc.) and so there will hopefully be another settlement there.

They gave you a check for $2k? How'd you pull that off, bone the insurance adjuster?

that amongst other things lol. I have $0 deductible for comp/collision, Im not too sure why they keep paying me for my car, they've paid out much more than the cars worth. But my premiums have increased slightly because of all my claims (5 in 3 years).

I want your agent.. we argued with our State Farm rep when my car was stolen. Its a whole different situation but from the start, they were suspicious like I had set the whole thing up

I'll say that any time my parents have been in a collision, State Farm is easy to work with and pays enough out to cover the damages.

I've only had that one claim on my car. Everything else, I've just fixed myself seeing as how my deductible is $500 and most of the repairs would have been less.
