ah, so your buying it used?? you can delete the current profile and create your new one, with your info. That's what's going to allow you to access the net. Which model are you getting?

its a 3 month old 80gb, which I'll prob upgrade the hard drive in to something huge! lol

FYI. the first generation 80 gigers have 4 remote controller ports. the trim on them is Chrome (you know how the console is two colors, black and chrome) Its got memory card ports aswell, and it can play ps2 games, not ALL of them though. The 60 giger can play ALL ps2 games(my brother has that one imo, thats the best one)

the new 80 gigers being sold right now at any electronics stores come with only 2 remote controller ports, no memory card ports, no ps2 play back, and the chrome trim on the console was change to grey.

well, remember how everyone wanted a price drop. well, i guess they had to take things out of it to make it cheaper/affordable.

for people like me. our ps2 stopped working suddenly.

the software emulation in the early 80gb models was okay, but nothing like the full emotion engine in the 60gb models

im in socal for like a month and a half and i brought my ps3 with me but forgot all the cables >_<
