Hey, my name is Cody, im 17, and i just bought my first car two days ago. Its a 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback, Bought it for $900. it looks like s**t at the moment, so im asking for some suggestions to make it look and run better.... it runs perfect, nothing is wrong with it, it just has some dents and scratches.

Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated!

It may look like s**t, but it has potential.

Just took more pictures..... sorry about the quality, rain messed with the camera

there is a log behind my wheel cause my driveway is on a slant, and i had my e-brake off

the dude i bought this off was at his graduation party, and someone tried to jack his stereo, but only ripped the faceplate off, so now i have a hunk of uselessness!

it doesnt look to bad, pretty good for 900 actually. well would you rather start making it look nice?? or performance?? i just bought a 95 ex for 900 bucks, first thing i did was buy some rims and tires from some guy on craigslist, it is now getting body work and a new paint job, its also been lowered and next is an engine swap.... good luck

i want to make it look decent, and concentrate more on performance, so does anyone have any advise on how to pump out a little more HP without dropping rediculous amount of cash into it right away? and also could someone elaborate how i find out what type mine is, like cx, dx, si? and what kind of engine i have in it? im new to the car and dont know that much about it

What engine do you have under the hood? Do you have P/W, sunroof, A/C, etc?

If you want to do performance upgrades on it, do it first. Then after that comes the body painting or whatever you want to do to the exterior.

Take a underhood pic, letts start there!
Do some performance!

And after that, body work, coilover susp, and 15" or 16" macwheels

So i was looking around at my car and decided the big circular chunks of metal holding my tires needed to be nicer, and no, they dont deserve to be called rims....anyways! i took off the wheels and chipped off all the rust, sanded them down, then painted them black, then went outside and painted the wheel drums red just for fun.... needless to say it turned out pretty decent.

i know, its still shitty looking, but im out of cash at the moment.

Also i took some pics, as people have asked for a picture of the motor and there is one of the interior at a better angle.
