need help on my system

alright so right now i have a 400 watt clarion amp hooked up to my 1300 watt sony xplod and it sounds pretty good. but im going to pick up a alpine type r tomorrow and i have a 500 rms rockford amp sitting at home. i was thinking that i could run both subs off of the two amps, so each sub has its own amp.

to do this, i would need a power distribution block for the power wire and a relay for the remote wire right ? and i could ground the two amps on the same spot with two seperate ground wires ? and i would run the rca cables from the 500 rms amp's pass through to the 400 watt amp right, with the rcas from the head going to the 500 rms ? is that it ?

if it wont work, then ill just run the 500 rms to the type r and sell the old system. id just like to have both of these subs.

Dont think you can just hook up those two amps and call it a day.. you would also need a capacitor because that will be taking all of the juice out of your battery....

just run the rockford to the type r and throw that shitty xplod out the window..

that one type r, if wired correctly, will be more than enough bass for you.. unless you really need more

x2 and also never run more than 1 amp on the same ground if u do this run a seprate ground for each amp but i would def ditch the sony sub...them things are only good for oversized ashtrays lol!

well i really wanted more bass but the type r fell through. and even though explods are shitty, its doing its job pretty good.
