ello fellow nor cal civic enthusiasts. so whos had problems with theft in the bay. i just recently got a 2k lx coupe and i started to mod it. but i hate driving it anywhetr in the bay. especially oaklan and sf. i got a factory alarm and a club bs but it still worries me. how bad are these things stolen in the bay. eff fools who steal these btw.

thieves suck.Honda Civics are by far the #1 stolen cars in California, followed by integras. You should get a decent 2 way alarm (I recommend clifford), get some kill swiches, don't keep anything valuable in the car. There's a couple ghetto ways of protecting your car, pull your spark plug wires out for the night, disconnect the battery, take the ecu home with you, buy a clutch lock. This should help a little.
yeah from what i hear. if they want it theyll take it. im tryna make it a btch for whoever tries. the factory alarm sucks so ill def invest in a nicer one . is making a fuel kill switch a hassle or is it semi simple. i like some of the ghetto ways haha. can u get clutch locks at a store or do i gotta get one online im really not looking forward to losing my s**t haha.

I say. Go with the free stuff like pulling plugs. Do it all day everyday and also if im super paranoid. I just pull ECU ...BUT if you dont want that. You can always pull out fuses too, say.......The starter. or Ignition.
