they're the 118dB ones. they are made in india, since that's where they moved all supertone production to. they are identical as the old 118dB german-made ones (not the dingy 113dB "old indian-made" horns), just without the "made in germany" print scrawled all over the horn. it's a killer deal and i really want a pair for myself, but all my $ is going towards moving into the townhouse. anyone wanna buy me a pair of horns?

The "preferred" 118db ones are now also made in India as per the tooling move so if you are asking what is the difference between the "new" 118db Indian made ones vs the "previous" 118 db German ones, is nothing other than where they are made as long as it is the 118db model

Anyways, about my car hood situation, I can either:
a) Find a carbon fiber hood for $250 and my friends and I install it
or
b) Go through the guy's shop insurance, they'll get me a hood from some comapny in Addison, IL that makes civic hoods for $80, and get it painted black... thoughts?

yeah, but having the 1/2 inch area around your head/face as the crumple zone must be unassuring lol

it JUST missed the visor.. it would be a different story had it hit him there. last week a F2 driver was killed when he got hit with a tire. bad week for auto racing
