Ive seen ram like headers and they bolt on bottem i guess there called.. witch one is better.. i like the style of the ram.. but dose it really matter witch one since they both push the air out?? i was going to get a after market header but dont want to spend the money then buy another one so i could mount a turbo to it...

I don't understand your question at all... :what:
All I know is your asking something about a turbo manifold... Check out LoveFab, Spoolin Performance and PeakBoost. They all make good manifolds.

And it's spelled "which" not "witch"

depending on the style you want you'll get faster spool, longer power band, ps/ac compatibility etc
ram horns are good power building manifolds cause of the equal length and so are the top mount, the log is better for a quick spool and clearance

your question makes no sense. dosent matter what you get its gunna be aftermarket unless you get something like a DSM header and modify it to fit. they all flow gases yes but ramhorn manifolds flow it faster and push it towards the turbine producing boost faster. i think you were referring to a top mount turbo which is normally a ramhorn but the flipped to allow the use of A/C. the manifold you choose should be based on the amount of boost you plan to run. if you run high boost then yeah ram manifold is probably better for your setup. if you run low boost a log type manifold would work fine. also unless you get a ram/tubular manifold from a reputable dealer it could break they tend to be weaker unless professionally welded with high grade steel. dont get ebay manifolds unless they are cast.

thanks for the heads up.. i plan to run differtent amount of boost tho.. at track put the turbo to the max and when just crusing set it at like 8-12 psi.. if i cant hit 20 when on track that would be plenty.. i want to hit low 10 with the car..

Do a lot of research.

I could be wrong, but it seems like your initial question was something along the lines of "Whats the difference beteen this cast log, ramhorn and topmount?"

IT looks like Zzyzxek got you pointed in the right direction

There's not a magical PSI that's going to put you in the low 10s. Its a matter of the complete setup, car and driver. (FWIW, I've never seen a Civic make a low 10sec pass on ANY setup at 20psi)...get a horsepower goal, not a PSI goal

Yes, by all means get a ram manifold because you're a dodge guy.
If you're running 20psi, or plan to get to 10's at all you better have built internals.

What kind of turbo do you have?
lol.. was looking at a garret t3/t4 60 trim.. also i have the stock air intake manifold... would a skunk two be better over eldbrok??

I don't think you realize how fast 8.5 seconds is.

8.5 second hatch...you must be talking about 1/8th mile...surely your not referring to a 1/4 mile.
I think you should ask him what he's smoking if he told you that.

FWIW, to give you an idea of what an 8 sec. pass looks like

What's this guys name? I'd be interested to know. How much whp did this guy tell you he made (which is only a small portion of going fast)

What track?
Are you sure this track isn't a few hundred feet short of a 1/4?

Not to sound negative, but I find that extremely hard to believe. How fast was he goin in this 8.8 second pass (that was 8.5 a few posts earlier)
