That subaru reminded me of a good cop car I saw back in 2000.
The police force in my city had one blue '99 Impreza WRX STi on the police force, and this was very stock looking on the outside, and the only way you could tell it was a cop car was to look inside it. The top of the windshield had a very thin LED strip for sirens which was actually impossible to see when it's off. The Impreza was a part of a project to try prevent street racing, which the cop would go around, flash highbeams to sport cars / "souped up" cars (this was around the time when FnF and Need for Speed s**t started), and pull them over if they speed off. The Impreza was dropped though cause most people know that something's fishy if you see a subaru on the side of a road just waiting like a police car.
But from time to time they will do the same stuff again but with new cars, like they had the new Dodge Chargers for a bit then they got rid of them.
