manual radiator fan switch

hey can someone point me to a GOOD DIY thread for this on here or hondatech or something??

lol i just cant make sense of the only two i've found on here.


also does anyone have a DIY for installing LEDs in the interior.....like cupholders....etc.

rads fans got two wires. just hook them up so it spins right. your deff going to need a relay though. i hooked my 12" slimfan to a switch in my cab. the switch controls the relay, the relay turns on the fan.

im not gunna explain how a relay works its to hard to do over this. cut the wires leaving as much extra wire as possible its easier to cut it again later than splice it back together or work with short ass wires, f**k i hate that.

if you guys do it this way then.. it will only turn on and whenever you want it to.. just letting you guys know its not going to come on by itself anymore.

hahahah yeah i know.....thats why i said manual. lol

i want to be able to control my fan, which would be just another switch to flick before i start up my car.

so theres the blue and black wire....i have a blue led switch for it which is grounded.
which wire am i cutting? or wait! i cut both, then attach them to the relay, (where should i mount it?) and then run the wire to the switch??

does that seem right?

I just ran a jumper on the wire so my fan starts when i turn on the ign.

personally, i would just use an add-a-fuse to a two-way switch and be done with it.

man i dont want ghetto....i want a quality job.
right now the previous owner had ghetto rigged the fan to work when the key is turned to the ingnition stage. its just a direct wire to the fuse.....like tucked inside the fuse. idk about it.

i want a toggle switch so when i start the car i can just flip the switch and have the fan come on, then flip it off when i get done driving.
