Tenzo Type R seats?

Also, what do I need to install them? In the product description, it says I can use the brackets from my original seats. Would that mean they just bolt on or would I need to fabricate something? (I have zero fabrication skills)

they are your typical cheap knock off seats. I believe that some have said they are uncomfortable, and wear fast. For the price though you can't expect Recaro or Sparco seats. Chances are they are set up to bolt the original brackets without any fab. They make them expecting the ones buying have low fabrication skills.

I haven't seen anyone bolt them up to stock seat brackets, but usually they'll come with sliders and then just get some seat brackets ie NRG, Megan Racing, Tenzo-R, Sparco

Yeah, I've seen the brackets.. they claim they'll work with most aftermarket seats.

I'm wondering if the seats are well made, if they hold up well or if the side bolsters wear down prematurely, fading, are they comfortable, etc...

i have them and they are comfy to seat on and the bolsters actually hold you down when cornering lol, and about the rails i don't have any info for it, i bought mine with the rails included

i had them. only issues i had was that they fade easily, the threads started to undo...but other then that the price was great and they hold you in very well. i think any seat is better then the 6th gen seat that i had

you can buy anything if you put your mind to it... save up for some nice recardo's or check out memory fab S68/s58's sooo comfortable

I've seen pics of the Recaros... used... they seem to fade as well.

I wonder if I'd be better off getting something that's made with a stronger material (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120453724147&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT), or vinyl. I don't want ugly ass seats though, which some of them certainly are... shiny black fake leather? eww......

They gotta be reclineable though.. I don't like one piece seats.

im on the same boat.. i think imma look around for some GSR cloths.. or some del sol's i hear they are nice.. anything over the 6th gen seats.

but yea.. im not spending that much for seats either. its ridiculous.

if it werent for the fear of the seats collapsing and crushing me into bits if i get into an accident, id buy some ebay seats since some of them actually look pretty good.... but there's no way $230 is gonna buy me 2 crash safe seats... as tempting as it is....

im with you there man... im just gonna keep watching craigslist for some integra seats, or if im lucky some rsx seats.
