I've decided to go with the LS Turbo set up running a stock DSM 20G turbo. I've been looking at internals for the 2000 LS engine and was wondering the optimal compression to run the turboed engine?
I found that I will have "Stage 2 Turbo Camshafts" from Crower, Titanium retainers, Crower Valves and Valve Springs, I-Beam Rods, Eagle Crankshaft and CP Pistions... But what would be a reliable compression on the B18B running a good 10-14lbs with this setup? I'm thinking 8.5:1 should be good, right?
