Silver one sold an hour before I got there.

White Luis Vahttan edition was hideous, had no seat belts, the steering wheel ahd been replaced so it had no air bag and the interior was comical.

Found an 02' with 70K original miles in abosolutely bone stock condition.

Problem is the guy thinks its worth 6 grand!!

Gonna work on that one. Should have one bought by weeks end!!
Good luck with the 02.... but just so you know... that generation civic has even less potential than other civic generations...

try to stay away from those 7th gens.. stick with 5th and 6th. look for something not modified, and if it is modified make sure the modifications are minimal and everything was done right.

Whats the dealio on the 01-04 cars? Do they break more? I just want one I can put a set of little Fanboi racer wheels on and tint the windows.

Short of that? He can roll a stocker.

Sk8r...I didnt even think about Integra's. I'm gonna call the dude/chick in Peyton and roll out and look at that one today. Thats like Uber Tuner car no?

BTW, Theres only tons of clean low priced ones out there when you dont have 5 grand cash in yer' pocket!! Soon as the money is spent on one then suddenly the fvcking floodgates will open with 35 prime examples for durty cheap.

Some cocksuckah named Murphy and a law inacted in his name. Think they call it....Murphys law?

Lol! You guys are a good crew. I seriously appreciate all Y'all's guidance and assistance. For real.

BTW....This car:http://denver.craigslist.org/ctd/1298729679.html

Was one of those ads the little scumbag dealer puts on Craigslist just to get you in the door. When I got there yesterday they told me it had just sold and pulled the old Okie-Doke BS with "But what about this one?"

Upon further review looking at the photo on CL? Not one of those cars sitting around that Honda was on his lot. Not a single one. That photo is old. He is a tricky mofo fo' sho!!

The 7th gens just do not offer the aftermarket support if he does happen to get bit by the bug and wants to go all out with something. 92-00 models are a lot easier to 'hop up' and there is a ton more available parts for them.

Examples:

'

with a 7th gen (01-04) your pretty much limited to 1 type of motor swap option, and the suspension support just isnt there.

Well after much hunting and driving many less than stellar Civics...I made the kill tonight.

Sadly I think you guys will reject my Civic forum membership though.

Found a Black 2 door 2000 Integra LS, Car is spotless and has 75,000 miles. Manual trans, Tan leather, Sunroof, Some trick stuff under the hood but very tastefully and $$$$ done. Its on a set of trick wheels with what drives like the best lowering kit I have ever felt. I think it has a slew of Tein? stuff undermeath the car. Its damn near fast with just a header and CAI......It also has some weird manifold pressure gauge dealie with a slew of buttons under the radio to control it.

The car drives like new.

Will post photos tomorrow and then see myself to the door as you guys wont accept me now and I'll hafta go do mod talk and stuff with the stuck up Integra Biatches!!

This car drives so fvcking good I almost dont want to give it to the kid!!! Seriously....I dunno why but its a good bit stronger and faster than the Vtech Civics I have driven. I thought they were the same car? This one has disc brakes on the rear and according to the guy I bought it from has a 1.8L motor yet it runs differently from the Vtech civic I have been in? Maybe its cammed differently...Feels torquey as hell.

I'll hafta to do some reserching.

This little car is blast to drive! I couldnt barely keep it under 90 on the way home...
I hate to give such a creampuff to the Boy. I wanna keep this thing for my own greedy self!!

it sounds like you made a good find. post some pictures and a mods list.

i've never driven an integra ls but yes, it has a different engine....1.8L, DOHC, 142hp, 127lb-ft torque....

it's quicker than most of the civics you drove because most of the civics were probably 1.6L, SOHC, 127hp, 107lb-ft torque. see the difference? vtec isn't all that it's hyped up to be. if it wasn't this trim then it had lower numbers.....

just remember, a civic is JUST an economy car.

Figured since Y'all were so helpful....Heres the final result of my search. 75K miles. I dig this car. Interior is as new and the paint is really nice.Man I hate to let this kid tear it up!! I making him wax and polish the car for hours so he understands and appreeciates taking care of the thing.

Has a long list of mods but I didnt get the list from the guy I bought it from.

Thanks again for all the help Gents!

Guess I'll see myself to the door (Kicks ground with foot as the Integra forums suck ballsacks compared to Civic Land!)

Have a great rest of summer!

Great find!

I don't see why you have to leave. There are plenty of members that are here that don't own civics. Hell, some of them aren't even in the Honda/Acura family anymore and I believe a few aren't even old enough to drive.

I say stick around. You have made a better impression than 80% of the people that have joined up in the last couple months. They seem like a pretty good bunch here once you dig through the BS.

Super nice Ls man. And all it is is a glorified Honda civic. Acura is just the higher end of honda. I really like the rims.

I followed this thread and it looks like a happy ending. Wish my dad bought me an integra!!! lol But its a 98 ex for me. Oh well, i love it =) Dont let him have a radar detector until he gets his first ticket! lol. My dad did that and it sucked, $160 of my life gone to a woman cop....

Radar detectors don't work all the time. Hell, they barely work any of the time. They keep coming up with new technology for the radars. The detectors only work if they are using older technology or if you are keeping up the the new ones every short period of time.
