Ok. So how about a friendly little CCC cruise tonight?! I'll check this thread during work. But I get off around 9:30pm. I was thinking a little bit of Lake Shore Drive, some Lower Wacker if you please, a little Michigan Ave, then we'll go eat in China town. Of course picture taking will commence. Holler! what's wrong with your car?
My motor was being rebuilt and they were boring it out 20 over but.. that should have been done along time ago. Originally me and my dad were going to do it. One of the main bearings went out.. but at the time we didnt have the time to go in and rebuild it because i was in school in bloomington and at the time it was way to cold to be working on it in the garage. So my dad said you shoudl take it some where you should take it somewhere you should take it somewhere..... well So i did that was 5 F***ing months ago and now im still waiting for it. not only does that make me mad but it going to cost me $2700 when i get it back... Well there goes all the mods i wanted to put on it like wheels, lip, better suspension, swaybars.. I mean really Had i not had this car scince 2003 when i graduated hs (being my first car) I would have just said f**k THAT.. but... my dad conviced me at the time that it would be faster and better if i took it somewhere... thats the last time i ever listen to him..
OH And i know could have bought an entirely new motor for that.. belive me... but He quoted the price .. and my dad said well I will pay for it and youc an pay me back slowly... and his thought well when you get it back U KNOW it will be 100 percent rebuilt all the parts will be new, you dont have to worry about some mystery motor where you dont know what happend to it. and the guy said if any thing goes wrong with it engine wise he will garentee it...so.. you cant get that with a swap
I had that happen when i got the swap in the first place it was a b16a at the time i was dumb.. but the motor was junk so over the years i pretty much had to replace every thing slowly... IF ONLY i had a time machine i tell you.. It really adds up and most of them arent performance mods they are just replacement parts
