My mom had a Topaz. That thing took a beating. Still ran.

this one's a POS. we dropped the tank, and check out the fuel pump and sender. they're working fine. there's an electrical issue with getting power to it though. there's continuity all along, but there's a voltage drop along the way. it's the canadian topaz/tempo so there's no relay for the fuel pump, so i've been told. looks like i may have to run a line straight off the fuse.

I know nothing about electrical. I still have a collant leak somewhere in my cooling system. I checked yesterday and dropped about a half a bottle of collant into the radiator. But i dont see a drip. Ugh. Every vehicle i have ever owned has had a cooling problem. This blows.

i really dislike working on electricals... especially when fuel is involved.

not sure what's up with your cooling. check your hoses, radiator, t-stat, water pump, headgasket, everything.

I have one spot i might double check. We replaced the radiator and thermostat & gasket. I think the gasket didnt set right. Its almost impossible to get your hand down there to put that stuff in. Chaging the thermostat took longer than the radiator.

I've always wanted to Claybar my car. I heard it sucks and takes forever though. Maybe I'll try in the next couple days

looks good man. Once you start using a buffer, your'll never want to go back to hand. It is just so much faster. I got a nice 8" turtle wax one.
