OK. Here's my situation. I recently purchased a 88 hatch with a LS swap. I've searched about 20 honda forums and spent about 3 days on google and I can't find a how to guide or a thorough build thread on a turbo ls setup anywhere. If anyone can help out with a link or maybe point me in the right direction other than the search button, I'd really appreciate it.

uhh well there is no GENERAL way to build a turbo, most people just buy a egay turbo kit and slap it on and tune it.

Oh f**k that. I plan on piecing mine together. You know the military don't pay s**t. I was just wondering if anybody knew where I could find like a budget build thread. Something so easy my wife could do it.

:word:

just get the parts list to a complete bolt on kit, like greddy or edelbrock. then go down the list one by one sourcing out your own parts. most likely you'll end up needing some custom stuff fabricated, like downpipe, intercooler piping, dumptube, etc., but everything else should work. the hp goal that you (hopefully) have set for yourself should help guide how in depth the turbo build should go

heres a list of my turbo kit i pieced together...

Garrett T3 Turbo- 106
HF Manifold- 37
CXRacing Intercooler- 86
Hallman MBC- 50
Water Lines- 15
Oil Line Kit- 50
DSM 450cc Injectors- 85
Piping- 85
Walbro Fuel Pump -$ 90
Reducer coupler- 28
Type-S adapter- 20
Greddy Type S- 145
2.5 bar MAP Sensor- $ 25
Gauges- 133
Sparkplugs- 12
Gaskets(T3 and HF)- 30
Chipped PM6 Ecu- 75
2.5” Cat-back- 200

Total So Far: $1365

if your running the stock motor you wont need to change map sensors....you need to get a b series manifold instead of the hf manifold....also you wont need a PM6 ecu...you'll need a chippable ecu that will work for your motor....www.xenocron.com
