Ok so I bought a 93 Civic LX a few months ago and got totally burned on it. So i just purchased a 2000 civic EX. I dont know much about the car. It has 132 K on it and everything is stock it was owned by a chick so it is super clean inside and out. Since its all stock i wanna start to work on. What do you guys suggest i should do first??

Tell me what you think about it?

It does in a certain way, but if you do it yourself you can save alot of money. Most of the expense is the labor from shops that will break your wallet. There is a post listing on doing a manual swap, just follow through that. If your not experienced with break downs for a car in general you might want some help or just suck it up and pay a shop to do the swap.

I would suggest working on suspension first. Wheels second. if your into it, upgrade the sound. Maybe do front and rear lips and si grille, it just depends what your goal is. as far as engine work i would say don't do anything besides basic maintence and save up for either a swap or forced induction.

slammed white coupes are awsome except if you live in a state where rocks are a issue for breaking everything, it sucks.

Thank you for the input! I think im gonna put the Si front before I think about dropping it just to be safe. You know any websites where i can find some lip kits and things like that. And what do you suggest i drop it on to. I have heard the name tikico i think alot. Is that the way to go?

well for the "si front" all you need is the lip and the grille. I don't have any links to those parts and i think the front lip is discontinued but can still be found some places, but i'm not 100%. As far as suspension i would suggest shop arround and look for what best fits your needs. I've heard of koni yellows with ground control coilovers, tokico struts with tein, h&r sport springs, skunk2, ksport, bla, bla, bla research and shop around. I personaly have H&R sport springs and i love 'em but i've never had/driven anything else besides stock. A rear sway bar would also be a good upgrade.

Oh and i guess i should of stated before anything else gets modified, get an alarm and such to protect your car. Not that that will stop a theif completely but you gotta protect your vehicle.
