Why does everyone hate on the Hondas or civics?

I have went to at least 3 forums about cars or tuners and the sections I find about hondas is just trash talking. I'm new to honda scene as I just got a civic.

sorry.. if hes from a town like mine no matter what he does people are still gonna say things like "u wudnt catch me in a 4cyln unless i blew the other 4 up" or old men saying "its all about the c c' s" "go american" or insanely wealthy kids saying "German ftw" ...

I have like one nizmo friend around me, thats all i got. haha
but if you love yer car, it shouldn't matter what anyone has to say about it, don't speak jus run em. That should b enough said.

I don't just love only hondas, I love all nicely done vehicles. it doesn't matter if its a honda, dsm, 72 turino gt (dads car), 46 chevy, or a 23 duesenburg. but I've noticed over the years that A LOT of v8 people love picking on the 4 bangers, trash talk an what not. but when you spank them, they shut up real quick, or end up making excuses for why they lost to something with half of their motor.

yep they shut up pretty quickly when their cobra gets spanked by a civic that also gets twice the gas mileage
