For the most part, I agree with you on that statement. However, when it comes to electronics and aftermarket car parts in general, cheap quality like that is never good.
With stuff like this you end up paying more than you normally would. First the cost of the cheap part, then the cost of a good one when the cheap one fails. Doing stuff a second time is never good when it is because of cheap parts..
In the end though, it is your money. If you have the extra cash to blow then do it. I personally wouldn't and would put that $150 towards a great name brand deck that you will be REALLY happy with instead of just settling.
