96 civic ex, today i put on my turbo kit, i have an xs power manifold, greddy td04h turbo, 450cc injectors with resistor box, phearable.net chipped ecu. thats pretty much the basic minus oil lines intercooler piping etc. ok so i put myturbo kit on today and i go to start it up and it starts up fine but when i drive it, it never hits boost and bogs quite a bit and it never hit vtec either. im getting some liquid right at my gasket on the exhaust side of my turbo. so first thing i thought was a blown turbo. i took off the bung on my downpipe to see if any liquid was coming out of it and nothing i rubbed the inside of the downpipe and still nothing. now i have no idea what it is ill have to take some pictures to probably have some of you understand. im also throwing some codes. when im driving and i start to get to the point where the turbo should spool, nothing happens i do hear a slight flutter from the BOV. i was also thinking it could possibly be a boost leak and would that cause it to bog and stutter and not hit boost? i checked for boost leaks but how do you ever really know without a tester :(. also the codes that im throwing are. 6, 10, and 21. can someone possibly give me and idea on what the problem could possibly be? is it a blown turbo or are the codes causing this or what? im not throwing out clouds of smoke out my exhaust either. ill snap some pics and take a video for anyone whos interested.

in the video you can hear the car bogging i figured id upload this to let you kinda understand whats going on.

6=water temp. sensor
10=intake air temperature sensor
21=VTEC spool solenoid valve

if your seals are blown check your charge piping not your downpipe.

thats a wierd funky look'n downpipe too

that Dp is ugly and is gonna hurt your power output quite a bit. get a new one of those with some decently smooth 90* bends. Sounds like you done have some plugs hooked up with those codes. go put them back on and those codes should go away. also have you tune on those 450s? if not then your not gonna want to boost on it AT ALL ( unless your planning on blowing up your new toy). how are you monitoring your A/F ratio?

check all your clamps to make sure they are tight...

wait have you even took the car for a drive yet....the turbo wont build boost til the car is actually moving in gear lol

That oil return line doesnt look good either...you have to figure that ur oil pressure is going to upwards of 60-80psi.. so somewhere you might be leaking oil. Looks like the gasket on the return fitting is where the leak is. It would be easier to get Russell lines -10AN drain line and fittings.. cuz what you have there are problems waiting to happen.

As far as the codes go.. the intake temp sensor should be near the TB and be sealed or welded in with a fitting. I have and extra fitting if you need one.

Vtec code im not sure ab or the temp sensor..

Start with code #6 (water temp sensor) and go from there.

Usually if you fix the smallest # code, the others will go away (in most cases) because they're all on the same circuit and are related to each other.

the only code im throwing now is code 21. its boosting fine and everything but i keep throwing code 21. now im not sure what this would be coming from could it possibly be a pin on the harness? i put a wire from the positive on my battery to the connector on the vtec solenoid and i heard the clicking so i know its working but im not 100% sure what could be throwing this code.

oil pressure may be low. be sure there are no leaks on your oil feed line to the turbo.

tightened up all my oil lines for feed and return to be sure and everything is tight now and i still have the code.

you may just have a bad vtec solenoid, but it is hard to say from here. if you don't have your oil pressure switch plugged up it may be tripping on that. Where do you have your oil line hooked in on the block side.

its hooked up to the t fitting on my oil pressure sensor, everything is very tight and its still throwing the code but when i hook the wire from my positive battery to the solenoid it makes a clicking sound so i know it works. could it be from the wiring on the ecu?

Anything is possible but since the problem started after the fact I tend to lean on what you did, whatever that may be find a tuner and have them check it out for ya.
