speeding ticket, anyone know?

okay so i got a speeding ticket tonight. 73 in a 45. i wasnt intentionally going fast, in fact i wasnt even on the gas i was just going down a really big hill haha. but besides the point the officer wrote something in the "remarks/subpoena" section of the ticket and on the far right side of the 4 lined box she wrote " *2-10 w/n/m " this is bothering the s**t out of me and was wondering if anyone knew what i could mean. ive spend the last hour trying to research it but havent come up with much. i have a theory but i wanna see what you guys think first haha. just some more information: state trooper, so i got clocked with radar =/ ummm im in delaware county pennsylvania. thats about all the other related info i can think of.

oh yeah, you can save all the "slow down" speeches hahah i know, it was a big hill going down and immeadiately goes up hill very steep, and with our lack of torque i hate slowing down on this hill haha

no i go to penn state. why do you ask? i am going to court and hope they will cut me a break... im a college student and money is precious to me. the officer said that if i did take it to court she would lessen the fine, so i am deffinitly doing it. i know it was my fault, theres no question about that, i was just really curious about what that could mean in the remarks/subpoena section

I ask because you're from west chester, and you drive a modded civic.. usually cops aren't too cool with UTI students in that area, since they have a reputation of driving like idiots.

i say fight it. i dont care if your caught and you were in the wrong. its your money and its better spent on you than anything else.

I'm not really sure what the junk she wrote in the subpoena section could mean, but what I can tell you is I got arrested for "racing" here in Georgia, going 80 in a 45 and when I went to court not only did my $600 dollar bail not cover the fine given, but I had to pay $500 extra. My buddy was going 70 in a 45 and went to court to get a lower fine and it ended up higher than the one he got quoted over the phone... So if you are gonna try to fight it, better hope the judge isn't a hard ass, dude.

and im sure your court date was mandatory correct?? i higghhhlyyyy doubt that then can do anything worse than say, "your guilty go home" since mine is not mandatory, plus she said she would cut me a break if i didnt get anymore tickets until then haha.

Well at least youre at terms with it.

However, just because you're a college student doesn't make money any more scarce/precious to you than anyone else. There's people here that work full time with decent jobs, and are STILL always broke.

man I am just saying this. You got caught speeding. It happens. But know what? Deal with you. you were being dumb when driving. If you wrent paying attention to your speed you could have also not paid attention to anything on the road and hit some one, or nearly hit someone. I admit I have paid for 3 different speeding and noise tickets. Just pay them, feel bad for it. And save it for the freakin track. Im glad you don't live near me. I know 2 officers and they would LOVE to impound your car and then buy it back at auction for less than 400$. Anyways, lesson learned for you man. Do whats right when driving and you dont need to give any more of your PRECIOUS money to the state.
