the locals are organizing a club meet this saturday so i went ahead and detailed the coupe. took a few shots in the back yard, thought id share. yea the backdrop sucks, but its the object of the image that speaks volumes . fyi i used meguairs tech wax (applied with 7.5" buffer) and i think the results were great. i recommend it over all the other waxes i've used. the front lip was repainted but not clearcoated (cuz its cheap and i didnt want to waste the money on it), and the edm mirrors were clearcoated

i'm not a big fan of the egay lip either, but i sold the factory lip and the spare mugen lip both last year. when i have spare funds i'll find another si lip. til then, rockin' the replica

i was in a Tractor Supply and saw them in the sale bin for like $1 so i thought id give them a shot

about 2 years ago the motor was dyno tuned at 287whp and a little under 210tq. that was before putting the exhaust system on, and during the hottest week of summer. i think it's probaly around 270 or so now with 38k miles on the clock

Good job with the detail...lookin good man! And yea...what are the orange sidemarkers? looks to me like they're just reflectors? Also, I have a used oem si lip in FBP for sale and a mugen replica lip as well if interested.

i had gold drags . they were a temporary solution b/c i needed 16" wheels to fit over the big brake kit. they still needed 5mm wheel spacers to clear the calipers, which barely left enough lug stud to put the lugs on. needless to say the drags were replaced rather quickly

Here's my constructive criticism:

1) Take off the reflectors, it'd look MUCH better.
2) Get an OEM front lip (painted)



Other than that, it's a very simple well-done boosted coupe imo.

yep both of those are on my list. like i said the amber reflectors were a $1 spontaneous experiment; theyre just not the right size so they look wack.

nobody said anything about the bandaid on the passenger side

POS 8 year old 4mp camera and no time to photoshop. so yeah the flaws are showing, but i call them shopping cart battle scars and wear them proudly

well i'm not on adjustables so cant raise the ass, the lip is painted just not clearcoated cuz its a waste of time on a $25 egay lip, and yeah the reflectors are going bye bye soon

Super nice ride! Ram is always lol I use Meguires Pro line #5 new car polish, then come back with Meguires pro hi tech yellow..they are around 12 each at advanced auto, but worth every penny! Nice job!
