thanks... but i havent even started my project yet.. im still prepping what i want to buy and kinda gettin a price range, i know granted, its gonna be a lot of money... but i was tossin around this idea in my head last nite... would it be sweet or not to have a unibody fab job done to my em1? like have everything bondo-ed and welded together? besides the doors, hood and trunk... but like the fenders, bumpers and quarter panels? like i said i was just wondering if anybody has thought into it themselves.. let me know what you guys and gals think...

Bro this idea you have is as old as ricers. Molding all those parts like that will look hidious! And specially molding them with bondo? Bondo is the worst s**t you can use on your car. Your car us going to vibrate, get dips, bump, flex. Lil by lil you're going to see the parts you jointed together starting to crack apart. And you would think you wouldn't need to take your bumper off for any reason huh? Good luck with that lol.
well you'd NEVER be able to sell the car like that. the only time it would even begin to make sense to do that is if your car is exactly how you want it and you NEVER plan on selling it... then yea you could supposedly do it... but it wouldnt be worth the time and money unless you're racing your car or something. it might even get you points at a car show because its unique, but... i dont know. its not something i would consider doing to my car.
that's true too.. i took my bumper off twice last week. haha.
lol its been awhile since ive read this WORTHLESS thread of mine... im no longer doin the k20R swap to my em1.. but i am doing the b16b swap to my car.. the motor should arrive sometime this middle of this week i ordered it from hmotorsonline and steve and company was nothin but great to me.. great company and great price and so on. but thats the plan now is the b16b swap... i just did a DIY fender washer project and took finish washers and stainless steel flat head screws as my hardware. i primed/painted the washers an anodized red to go with my si blue car should look pre sweet ill have pics of those up tomorrow and pics of the swap as soon as the progress arrives... but until then cheers..
