JDM B18B swap is complete (Thanks Ryan!), so I figured I'd give the car a good old clay bar and a nice coat of wax. Pics taken from my friend who owns the Legacy. And yes I know, lip needs paint. On to the pics: No touch up or photoshop at all btw.

That Legacy is a freaking beast. That car hauls. I DO plan on getting the lip/sideskirts painted.. when I come home from school probably next summer.

Couple pics of the swap:

Looks good.

you like the difference between the two motors? haha

When you go to the shop for paint you should get both lips (obv) sideskirts and door handles painted...

My D died... Thinking of just a simple B such as B18B. How difficult was the swap? And you can reuse the A/C and power steering from the D?

Oh yeah lol. Yeah want to, and the the trunk insert thing too.. there's that whole money issue and college student thing though haha

I will eventually. It was originally an AEM CAI. Cut it to be a short ram. Then cut it again to fit the y8 since it was originally for a y7. It's gone through a lot lol

lip needs paint...
=) had to say it..
d**k

sweet s**t! how you liking it?
Much better than the D series lol.

The swap wasn't too difficult. bought the whole thing already together (head on the block, IM & TB all attached, tranny attached) Couldn't have done it without Ryan (EJ6Civic27.. mucho credit to him).. We were able to keep my AC, but ended up getting a B-series P/S pump.. which is on the way out so it makes a lot of noise lol

Oh, and credit goes to the girlfriend for taking some of the swap pics, and for the Clay Bar she gave me... :-P

Whats up w/you guys always taking pics out on the grass? You shouldve found a real spot. Anything but grass.

We re-used all the Civic A/C and P/S lines. Only thing different was the compressor/pump.

No way was it hotter than the weekend I did the swap for you. I think I lost 10lbs just from sweating.....

And it took two of you 3 hours to clay and wax your cars? Sllllooooooowwwww.....

Those cars are definitely shining, you can really tell that you spent some time waxing them.
