After a Clean Install of Windows 7 RTM 7600 x64.
Stable, so far so good.

extract the iso? just burn it on a dvd.

you shouldn't extract an ISO. you should burn it directly to dvd. try using isorecorder.

it makes a nice little server. i have it running DNS, DHCP, and SAMBA, as well as a few web apps like torrentflux (centralized torrent downloading ftw) and ampache (to stream music)... i'm working on setting up a VPN server on it to access my network resources while i'm out and about.

running on crappy hardware though... athlon xp 3200+ w/ 1gb ram and a small 80gb drive. i'm working on making it completely headless. i need to set up autologin for that

I've never really liked Fedora.I played around with it a couple of years ago and didn't like it, I'll download it and play around with it again and see if it's gotten better.
