Try one of those carpet cleaning things and a brush.

Are there stains? Try some Shout or Resolve. But if its just dirty, try some of that foaming stuff and a really good, hard brush. Works for me and my floor mats.

I agree with above, a rug doctor will work well. Also what works well on the carpet is Woolite heavy traffic carpet cleaner.

i use a carpet cleaner with Boiling water , brush, and Shop-vac .. works wonders for me!

the boiling water breaks apart and chocolate.. calcium .. candy stains...

rug doctor is the shiznit
No... Shiznit is a mod on ClubCivic.

Try any carpet cleaner / solution. Or ask a specified salesman what to use on serious stains at any store.

lol thanx...So I took the entire interior out of the car except for the dash and it looks like it could use a whole lot more than just rug doctor. Since its outta the car, is rug doctor still my best option? Damn, I wish I could get that new car scent again without using air fresheners lol

Sounds like a good excuse for either a CTR carpet or a new OEM one...

haha that's exactly what I did today! it's hanging in the back yard and hopefully it'll be dry by tomorrow night...

Wait, when you said you replaced it, you bought a new one or put the old one back in?

And I bought some foam stuff (turtlewax interior wash or something like that) for cleaning the seats, i'll see how well that goes...

I work in detail at Mercedes-Benz and honestly, if you asked me to clean your carpet, I would do it for you no charge. What I mean is think long and hard if you know anybody who works in detail. When you have professional tools and professional cleaners.....cleaning a carpet is so easy. Where are you on the east coast lol?

And it must be really nice working at mercedes benz...One day i'll grow out of my veryyyy long honda stage and get one of those =]

I have to be honest..... I love my Civic. I really do. But I would trade it in a heartbeat for a benz. The construction and reliability is unmatched. Most of them are Kompressor (for the non-benz people means supercharged) and damn they are a blast to drive. Its also a nice perk to have a full service dealership shop and detail dept at your disposal for free. If you were closer I would spic and span that carpet for you bro but youre about 6 hours so no can do. If the power washing doesnt come out to your standard...call up a dealer or detail shop and see how much they would charge to steam clean it and ozone it. We seal up a car with an Ozone generator inside overnight and it gives it that new car smell. The ozone eats up impurities stuck in the materials. Good for the environment too, but must be done by professionals because its dangerous stuff.

never knew that about the ozone stuff but it makes sense...and yes, I would definitely trade my civic for a benz. The only thing that would suck is paying insurance on it and maintenance if the dealer doesn't provide it...Where are you at? and damn, if only you were closer bro! Anyways, hopefully pressure washing all the dirt out of the carpet and cleaning the seats real good will take out the odor and my ride a little more pleasant to be in...
