damn the forza3 demo is still downloading i have 78% this demo is pissing me off already

first impression of the game is eh, not feeling the camera angle on this one i like the one in forza 2 when you change the camera. in forza 2 you can change to see yourself looking at the road with your speedometer,tach in the bottom middle of your tv screen but the forza 3 it's in the lower right corner of your tv screen

I'm sure you can change that, I wouldn't base all judgment off where the spedo is........

i hope you can change it it's a pain in the ass cuz the tach is in the lower right of the tv and it's small i hit my rev limiter a couple times cuz it's not right in your face. hopefully the finish product is better than the demo, so i'll give a demo like a c- for it

Damn that's harsh,

In FM2 one camera angle has the tach in the bottom right, and is model specific or if you switch to another view it's in the middle.

Did you change views at all? See the cockpit view?

yes i change all the views man, i like forza2 cuz it's in the lower bottom of your tv screen and it's huge forza 3 is really small and it's on the lower right of the tv screen like i said in the previous post. cockpit view is ok seems like they just copy the game with a kudos points i can't remember the name of the game right now. and for some reason i was expecting my driver to shift when i shift (i used manual tranny) but it didn't

John Wendl: He doesn't, right now. We just couldn't get that feature in in time, unfortunately. It was something we looked at, we had it close, but it was a little too buggy for us to put in… what we couldn't reconcile was that it was a very detailed hand with fingers and it actually grips the wheel, and it was difficult to get him to let go of the wheel and do this (moves hand off wheel) without his fingers passing through the wheel, because you don't actually do real collision detection on the wheel, and depending on how it was turned, there's a lot to work out there to get it

, and we just felt like the visual trade-off there was too great. We'd rather have it not do it than look bad. And a lot of cars these days have paddle shifters so you're not going to be doing that anyway, so that's how I've rationalised it at least. (Laughs)​

graphic is awesome, the driving dynamic is pretty cool, and the cockpit view is incredible
