lightened lugnuts do have some form tho, less rotating mass, how much you'll feel that tho is arguable.

hood view is too rigid and narrow for me, plus the crackheads and gang bangers are distracting...
lol not for me, in Forza it's just the very tip of the hood so it's not bad at all.

in gt5, the hood view feels more "roof mounted" than "windshield mounted"... it makes the view feel very narrow and it's harder for me to figure out where the edges of the car are. bumper view ftmfw, i can feel the suspension so much better...

anyone else have trouble feeling the handling with cockpit views? i can't feel the car at all that way.

cockpit is hard to see, most bumper views are too low and make it hard to see up coming apexes, that's why I prefer hood mounted since it's higher.

i hear you on the vertical visibility. after you learn the course, you don't really need to see the apex to take it... there are a couple some blind turns on fuji speedway where it feels like i'm gonna turn too soon, but end up clipping the apex just right.

Jay,

I told my miata forum your rating they think you crazy =)

Yeah it's damn good. Feels almost the same besides a physics update when using the chase came, but the cockpit view just has a different feeling. you feel more immersed but it's a little bit trickier too. Also that giant sweeper on the demo track is so fun to slide through. It's much more rewarding doing it in the cockpit view it just feels so much more difficult. At first using the clutch felt awkward with a controller, but within a few races I had it down, now I'm starting to get it when drifting as well. I'm really enjoying this and everything just feels perfect in the game.
BTW my gf went to thai bowl lastnight and got me some food to eat today as leftovers (weird I know) I'm stoked to try the combo fried rice :D
