i drive over 300 every tuesday and thursday.. this is highway MPG for my car too... i hear the stage2 ppl are getting 29mpg highway due to how lean they run.

about 50-60 hp more i believe. somewhere along the lines of 20-25% extra hp and 35-40% more torque.
awd drivetrain loss is horrible though (about 50hp difference between crank and wheel!)

Anf do the math to see how long it'll pay it self off :D
let's see.. an extra 5mpg = ~80 extra miles = ~3 extra gallons (at 24mpg) = ~$7.80 (at $2.60/gal)
$1600 / $7.80 = 205.12 ... it'd take over 200 fillups to have the fuel savings pay for the upgrades. this is ONLY if the driving between the 200 fillups are highway only.

yeah, it won't pay itself off anytime soon.

SCCA relies on dues to keep itself operational and influential enough

Miata club is $35

chicago is also larger with higher costs of living and higher prevalent wages compared to south bend. miata club is a niche club, they'd drive away people with higher dues

You've been autoxing as long as I have, what's kept you from getting a membership?
