16's are perfect 17's arent that bad but go with what u like

I dig em.
It'll be hard to get used since I'm currently rocking 13s haha
But i know they will grow on me. I like the look of big rims.

Can someone please answer the tire question. Preferbly someone with a 5gen hatch.

well...if you get the rims NO BODYKIT!!! youll have some rubbing but barely any. bigger radius tires/rims=longer turns. just put a thin spacer on and youll be fine

Alright I agree to the terms. Ha
Trust me all I take is long turns now. I was shifting into second coming out of a sharp corner, next thing I know front axle broke, barely lucky i didnt crash. BTW 5th day I had the car. Lets say I just about baby this thing, no street racing goes down where I live, and if i do I can pretty much beat people in my moms 06 impala. pathetic.

dang well i meant longer meaning the inside of the wheel is closer to the inner wheel well because of being bigger. but dang that sucks that that happened 5 days after you got the car. if it makes you feel any better my clutch took a dump on me 1 month after i got the car and then about another month later the transmission took a dump too. 1000 bucks later my car was back up and runnin w/ the s20 tranny.

i had 17 in and its WAY bumpier, gas mileage goes down, and depending on the weight of your rims and the type of engine you have acceleration can be affected (at least for my d16y7) i got some 15's to replace the 17's and all i could say was WOW. nice and smooth ride, gas mileage went up by like 6mpg and i could speed up way quicker.

Well I think the pictures I've seen of a hatch with 17s looks decent and for the money im paying, looks great.

never mind never mind. forgot i posted a pic of the newer car. this new pic is of the car i wrecked. the ricey pic is of my new car but you can see that ive dericed the heck out of it. you still notice a HUGE difference when changing rim sizes
