looking into a z06 actually. Or maybe just a Ls1 depending on price.
C5 z06 FTW.. LS's are nice to mod. I miss my z28 but I'll get another one when I get tired of this hatch.. but I'll probably go nissan before I go back to GM.

I've been looking at a lot of C5s lately. They're getting more affordable and have tons of support.

f**k tards like that piss me of, rice math is stupid cause 90% of the time those people dontr even know what the hell they are talking about.

the reason most of us real car enthusiests modify imports is because they are fun and cheap. ive done the muscule thing back in the day, and it was to much cash for me to keep going with. so i started imports.

people like that give imports a bad rep. f**king dicks.

not really. My old monte got me in the low 13's with just headers and exhaust. For a civic, your looking at like 2.5-5k depending on what you do.

I had an old trans am, it was fast ( imo ) but i never got it to the track. then reason that car got $$$$ was cause it was a restoration project, and sense im into handling more so then straight line speed i gave imports a try and have been here sense.

it was a 78 with a crate 454 in it, it was mine and my dad project in high school before he and i stoped speaking. i liked it but it was to big and to unpredictable for my driver level at the time

the most i do to any of my imports is intake exhaust and some major suspention and driveline, the civic build i have in here on the build page is the most extensive that i have ever though about do to a particular car.

Imports aren't cheap unless you plan on leaving them stock for drivability and economy purposes.

HP and suspension go hand and hand with domestics. You can have like 800hp car, but no drag suspension and it wont hook. other hand u could have 500hp drag suspension and will blow that car out of the water.

you can go low 11's maybe even high 10's for 5k if you are patient and get decent deals with a domestic.. i mean f**k throw a bottle in an 89 gt with some tire.. and that will be fast as f**k.. in going over some budgets for my domestic build with some friends who have them running well.. i could not ignore the HP per dollar.. minimal computers.. no inspection at 25yr old...and just general ease that comes with domestics.. i will always love my civic.. but it is a waste compared to what i hope to have once my next project gets started..
