i dunno bout the 5th gen but this is what i did to my car to put my 6x9's in. take out back seats, remove side panels, remove speaker pannel behind seat. remove 4 screws from speakers, put new ones in. replace rear speaker panel, put side panels back on w/all plastic clips, put bottom of seat back in with bolt, put top of seats back in. then worry bout wiring after that cause its better to get everything back together since you can do the wiring with the seats down. gl and if your car like that pm me for photos cause id be glad to rip apart my car tomorrow to show you. lol it needs some cleaning anyways

Thanks man you have been a ton of help for me.
i have no idea if there is even a place for rear speakers in my car. arg
I know the panels in the back seats your talking about but where are the clips on them, i really don't want to break anything, since my car is completely stock and mint condition and this is my first time taking a panel off. (Recently tried to but new cd player in and that was a mess, took off 90% of the dash got pissed and put it ll back together)

well for the rear panel heres the easy steps of removing it
1. find handholds
2. pull really hard

lol thats what i did and the plastic clips come off. once again though idk bout your model car. post some pics up of how the back looks and i can prob help from there. most of the clips are mounted on the back but on the 6th gen you got one on the bottom in the middle and two on the edge where the seats are. ill do some research too but headunits are pretty easy since all you gotta do is take out the panels beneath the center and then unbolt it and slip the new one in
