someone decided that cut springs and 18s was a good idea when i got my car. the inside wheel well had a piece of metal so sharp that it separated the tread from the side wall on both front tires.

so i removed them

my previous owner put the wrong short ram intake on it, and smashed one end in. half of the wiring that was changed was done extremely shity, the wires where just twisted together and wrapped in elect. tape, for the headlight harness. wasnt even a good wrap, it sucked.

replica and DIY isnt ghetto. You can DIY nicely or DIY ghetto-rigged. Replica is low budget. Ghetto is usually not worth the effort or makes other people go :smackself or :wak: or :kickass:

two of my exhaust hangers broke once.... well... one broke.. causing the other to stretch and break...

in a pinch... i used one of those cotton web belts... you know.. for your pants..

this deemed inadequate seeing as it melted.

so a coat hanger was used.... really like three...

we were on our way home from new york when the b***h pin fell out... bolt and a nut fixxed that...and stayed that way for 3 years.

Once upon a time i had ebay projectors. one of the lenses kept wanting to fall out so i folded up a piece of duct tape and wedged it in there :thumbs up

When i bought my car it had a batman wing on the trunk (one of the selling points for me at the time). well the wing grew old really fast so i removed it leaving behind holes in the trunk lid. To this day i still have electrical tape covering the holes.

Last year i did a big brake kit on the front axles which required 16" wheels. I bought the cheapest wheel/tire combo i could find, drag dr16's with a 38mm offset. Well the wheels still wouldnt clear the calipers b/c of the low offset and shape of the spokes and i didn't have time or a way to go buy wheel spacers so i stacked up 2 washers on each lug stud and put the wheels back on... eventually i replaced those wheels and no longer require any spacers

My trunk well keeps collecting water after it rains. I drilled two 1/4" holes in the trunk bottom to solve the problem, instead of replacing the taillight seals like i should have done

My GF's Civic leaks in the trunk. I found the 2 leak spots and made me a plastic container routing to the windshield wiper fluid tank (sits in the trunk), and rerouted lines............

generally speaking electrical tape has been on the trunk since i took the spoiler off. not the same piece of tape. i change it out everytime i wax the car lol. it actually lasts a couple months, just gets kinda hard and petrified
