bored and well 6th gens get left out

so i was browsing thrue Honda tuning today and again noticed the lack of 6th gen cars....

Ok lets be real here its heaver than the 4th and 5th gen cars and thus has less of a power to wight ratio and is even less aerodynamic.
But it has the same wishbone suspension and trailing arms in the rear...and can be setup very nicely. Why cant you give them props? even If you are starting with less of a car. and than there's the coupes suck crowd i mean wtf really? <that s**t just drives me up a wall. and if you ever do see a nice 6th gen its always a damn EM1. the valid EK is left out time and time again....

this Gives me even more drive to make my EK better and to prove that there not always a lap down.

Get used to it. Don't ever expect mad props in your civic unless you're pushing 300 hp+ don't get me wrong, I love em, just the truth.

thats the end goal right now im going for a 1.9 ls/vtec for 220 to the crank with no boost than just swap rods and pistons down the road and doooo it!

You must be new to civics... When I got my 7th gen, it was all about the 6th gens. That's all you ever saw or read about.

Do you actually read Honda Tuning on a regular basis? There's a 6th gen hatch in like every issue. They have run several coupes in the past year and one sedan. Maybe in your boredom you can be a little more prepared and do your research.

You must be new to civics... When I got my 7th gen, it was all about the 6th gens. That's all you ever saw or read about.

joe has it right.... when the 7th gen was out... it sucked ass compared to the rest of the civic family.even the SI blew...

and all you ever saw at that time was the 6th gens.. and because the RSX with its K series was out at the same time the 7th gen hit the market... it really made the 7th gen civic blow even more... almost like honda left the civic out..

so you saw more 6th gens than ever.. and then the real hot 6th gens had a K swap.

now that a K swap is like everyday business..and you can turbo anything for less than 1G.. and the new SI has hit the market... in 2009... 6th gens are out...

8th gen SI is in.

unless you are drastic with your 6th gen... i mean.... V6 swap, V6 swap twin turbo.. LEGIT AWD... things like this...

you might as well hang up your wrenches and sell that car for something else.

one day 6th gens will be a rare thing and it will be hard to find one in good shape, just like trying to find a clean 1st or 2nd gen civic. nearly impossible! then the 10th and 11th gen civic owners will see yours and be like "that's old skool as fawk!"..

Well i have a 96 civic dx sedan and it's in damn good shape, i havent done any mods on it yet but now that i have the money to do it, im gonna mod the s**t out of it. I might even go for an engine swap, but since I'm new to modding, im not gonna lie....i do need help. So to anyone who's actually serious about helping me out contact me.

O yea...and bak to the topic...yea 6th gen cars get alot of face time, especially in Honda tuning.
