thats because you don't know how to trigger the update before it pops itself up... you gotta do the network test and it will pop up to update

thats 4 games 1000/1000 nfs shift/undercover i had left 4 dead also, but i got the DLC so it took it off, and i havnt played it much since. then i got 2 arcade games, and ill have wolfenstein 3d soon.

lol yeah, im trying to get 50% of the total GS possible, and the same with achievements, im only a few hundred achieves off, and like 8000GS off i got screwed on a few games though that i just borrowed for a day and didnt get any from, or just plain hated the game, like NHL 08, forza 2, and halo 3

did you sign up for the preview program? Thats the only way to get it right now. Its really not anything special at all.
