Idle between 200-2000 up and down up and down

I removed a couple of things to clean up, IACV, throttle body ext..

I noticed that the Idle Air control Valve made this clicking noise when i twisted the little cylinder inside, and i had to twist if with a little force.

I have no CELs, ive taken it to auto zone and another mechanic no codes

but my car is undrivable, as im accelerating it, stalls and goes down to like 200 rpm,, then shoots back up to 2000, then back down.. ect

could this be the problem? should I just buy the part and put it in myself?

When were the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor last replaced?

Have you checked the mechanical and ignition timing?

plugs recently, no rotor yet, and have not checked the ignition timing

make sure you didnt leave a vacuum line unhooked.

Start by replacing the remaining ignition components (wires, cap, rotor) and then check the ignition timing (=basic tune up).

I changed this morning the Spark Plug Wires the Dizzy Rotor and the Dizzy Cap
and took the car out for a spin around the block, ran like a baby, i dont wanna jynx

before it wasnt giving me a CEL, now it is.. so i atleast i can get it diagnosed at autozone if anything happens again
