shipped out my jdm d15b intake manifold to Chris M of http://polarbeartuning.com/ for his 70mm taper bored throttle body, space and port matching.
should help flow out a TON up top and ive heard throttle response is superb with this mod
going from 58mm to 70 will help it breathe for sure lol

the pipe maze is nearing completion
i think thats about as good as it gets when it comes to BOV placement close to throttle body lol

thanks, the pipes are a bit of a challenge to fab up but will be worth it for sure.
i like the BOV placement, hope it pick up a bit better when trying to climb back into boost
I also shrunk the pipes down to 2.5" from 3" hope that goes towards throttle responce as well.
I was getting sick of tha lag and im trying to make the pipes as short as possible.
woho!! all done i had some rewards point from the zone so i got some reflective heat wrap for free and i did the intake pipe's and the hot pipe that is inside the engine bay right by the downpipe. hope it reduces some heat soak, car used to start breaking up on hot days.

got the car up and running now just need to finish fabbing up the exhaust and bleed the clutch and she is don, and about damn time!!! vid is just showing the intake working, rev between idle and 2000ish rpm

just waiting to get ectune, adjust the chow mein BOV, and finish welding the exhaust and it should be set to 300+whp once its built
why is it useless?
freaking love the way it sounds when ripping on it, its loud but no rasp or fart just a deep spooling sound
i need to get this thing on tape going by on a good camera not a cell phone lol

i also have a spare y7 hear that im gonna practice porting on, then ill do the jdm d15b head along with a cam, havent decided yet but im gonna go with 59300, no bisi nut hugging here
