200,000 Miles On A 1995 Civic Lx

Today I just rolled over 200,000 on my Civic. ;). Bought it brand new on October 31st, 1994. Maintenance done:

Many oil changes and a few Tranny fluid changes
2 timing belts
Repacked CV joints
Water pump on 2nd timing belt replacement.
Changed radiator & hoses
Changed Thermostat
2 brake pad changes
Shorted right rear brake light housing
Serviced A/C 2X
Valve cove gasket set
Passes smog easily

Paint is faded, but it is a solid car

that's awesome man i remember when i hit 325,000 or so miles on my eg before i did the swap

but i gotta raise the bs flag on the 2 brake pads changes though

I've had it so long, that you might be right. I probably forgot other routine maintenance that I did to it also. Still that's normal wear and tear. I love the reliability of it. It hasn't even started burning oil yet. I need to adjust the valves again. I'm getting a little tap in them. Oil changes averaged out about 3,000 miles.

I have a '96 dx HB that has 218,000 miles. They are the most reliable cars. There are more Hondas on the road now than any other car.

my hatch just rolled on 200k needs some suspension work, but motor is strong wich gives me more time to build my mini me

My last honda clicked 297k before it had a fluke accident. Who knew the crank would warp when I was driving home from a concert. Bet that b***h woulda made 400k easy.

My motor made it to 110k before it warped :what:

Now I have 39k on the new motor and 117k on the body.. that Honda rust is starting to show and I don't like. Not bad for about to be in it's 13th winter...

my tranny has almost 200k. it has outlived 2 motors already and is on the 3rd :rolf:. RIP b16, RIP b20vtec, good luck ls/vtec!

My Mustang rolled over 200,000. New water pump, oil pump and freeze plugs. Water pump was from accident, freeze plugs rusted out and oil pump because some of the plastic parts were beginning to break. :roll:

High mileage cars FTW.. the EM1 I may be getting has 216,XXX and its all stock :cool:

I just hit 207k last week on my 99 coupe. I need a new input shaft bearing. My transmission whines like a f**kin b***h.
