2010 KIA forte koup specs =
curb weight 2859lbs (27lbs lighter then the civic si coupe)
173hp 168tq (cvvt continuously variable valve timing aka another fake vtec )
6 spd tranny

Video preview > YouTube - 2010 Kia Forte Koup Movie

(look at 1:34.. there intake system would probably be very efficient at high speeds)YouTube - KIA FORTE KOUP Fast look

My opinion .... its still a ''kia'' BUT it does look better then the current civic coupe. Almost looks like a cross between a evo, civic and scion tc. The cars high tq and lightweight body makes up for the 173hp hp compared to 197hp the civic si has

1. HELLA ugly wheels
2. They went too crazy with the mesh in the front grills
3. Hella 4x4, especially with big ass wheels and a rear bumper that isn't designed bigger to make the rear end look like its lower. I think the new 8th gen civics are actually lower or have less wheel gap than the forte...
4. Rear diffuser on the bumper..? Really? Is that necessary for all that horsepower?

Hyundai's quality and cars have surprised me over the years. I still remember when my friend bought a 05 Tiburon V6 SE (6 speed, LSD), and I ragged on him for awhile. I mean he had so many choices at the time. And he decides to buy a Tiburon, lol. But when I actually been in it, drove it and all that jazz. It definitely surpassed my expectations by miles. The interior outclassed many cars I've been in. The Genesis Coupe 4 Cylinder Turbo's release makes it even better.

The Koup also have a turbocharged version that hasn't been released here in the US. Although their cars are actually very promising, I still wouldn't drive one because of all the s**t they get from other enthusiasts. I guess you can say I care too much about what people think. I got two friends that drive Tiburons, one is turbocharged and the other is a V6 supercharged. They own the streets here, but they still get no respect.

Remember when people say, no matter what it's still a 'civic'. Even Honda owners down here say, 'it's still a Hyundai'.

KIA should make a luxury/sports division and get this car on its lineup. Kia brand should only make compact and fuel-efficient cars because they will never dominate the sports car class. Cause no matter how good-looking the Forte is, it's still just a Kia.

It looks like a mini camaro with an evo front bumper. I would see crash teat ratings when comparing to other compacts
