Really clean for being in PA. I'd just lower it and paint those wiper arms, maybe get some ls webs or something. Remember, stance is everything.

While I'll agree, but I personally think OEM wheels, especially webs, will ruin the good look of a proper stance.

Here's how mine looked, I just like webs for some reason. I'll be picking up a set for my midori hatch eventually.

my plans for right now are to put a set of 15's on it to get rid of the stock steelies and hubs. i have a thread in the wheels section with the 2 styles of rims im thinking of. but ill post the pics here. 15's can be bought for pretty cheap new so thats what im looking into. after the wheels im going to lower it. not sure if i just want new shocks and springs or coil overs. right now im low on cash due to getting my hours cut back so this will be a slow process. after i get a new job that supports my car habbit i want to throw a greddy turbo kit on there. my overall goal would be around 200whp. im not going to dump a ton of money into b/c ill be buying my girls 06 gti 6spd off her in a year. so that will be where most of my money goes. but im having fun with this civic and want to make it a little faster and a little lower with a nice set of wheels. im not sure if i can pull the broze off with the teal. i also like the look of this red civic. tho i dont think i want to go that low.

You'll be happier with coilovers. I had a greddy kit on the same car I posted a picture of but I had some upgrades along with the kit. The kit doesn't come with an intercooler or anything like that. I don't think it was really close to 200whp at all, the turbo is too small. If i could do that car all over again I would of built a kit myself, but I got the kit for $500 so that's why I did it.

So, you wanna be as low as Arnel?

edit: Reading owns me.

Anyway, I like those polish ones better for your car. I'll always recommend a full coil setup over springs and shocks. You can find nice deals in the Sponsor section on suspension parts. Infact, there is a crazy deals for Function/Form full coils, they'll let you go as low as Arnel, if you choose. They also have dampening adjusting. I use F/F and I love them. You can even get Koni yellows with Ground Control coils for pretty cheap, altho it is recommended you get the top hats as well.

i have some friends that can get some deals on the greddy kit. between 1200-1400. i know what the kit comes with and just want to have everything in one basic kit then take it from there. i want to mostly get the wrech time in with a kit that has everything rather then be missing something and have to stop to go get it. over time the small turbo will be upgraded and an intercooler ran and other things to bump it up to around 200. ive dealt with greddy products many times and couldnt be happier with there prices and quality. i want this to be somewhat reliable for me for the next few years. who knows everyday this civic grows on me more and more. it does have alot of potential. i see so many nice civics on here

and for coil overs what all is needed. ive heard you need more than just the coilovers. ive never dropped a car with coil overs

An alignment from a tire place, more than likely a front camber kit, should probably go with a rear camber kit too. There's a site sponsor offering function and form type 1 coilovers for $595 shipped. I think some polished slipstreams would look pretty badass on your ej1.

Today I was looking at ground control sleeves and tokico illumina shocks. I was thinking of doing that instead of coilovers but I'm not sure. This will be the first car I lower wih anything other than springs. So I just want to make sure I have the right parts so it can be done right the fist time. I want to install it the springs and shocks or coilovers myself. My overall suspension goal would be low but not to low and have a decent ride. I don't need the full adjustability of coilovers but it would be nice. But if sleeves work with shocks for cheaper I'm all for that.

i found a new set of rims i think im going to buy instead of the polished ones. lately the local cops have nothing better to do then pull people over for no reason. so im going for a not so flashy rim.
