Another EBAY kit noob.... yes, theyre junk. search this forum and youll find everyone saying the same thing.

Fast / Cheap / Reliable << pick 2 and the 3rd is what its not!

Go-Autoworks.com and Xenocron.com << they have EVERYTHING your looking for. Would you trust your car to some chinaman out to make a buck on Ebay or a company that has PROVEN RESULTS?

that kit would be good for the intercooler piping, couplings, clamps, hoses, intercooler, and downpipe. the bov, wastegate, turbo, and gaskets are probably trash though

Yeah I figured as much, just wondering if anyone else has had any experience/feedback of these kits.

I would rather piece together a turbo kit slowly over time (as funds are not sufficient right now to just throw down cash) and thought asking in this forum would be a good place to start...

It's all based on luck, essentially. Plenty of people have had good luck with the eBay turbo kits, and it can equally be said on how many people have had terrible luck with the kits (BOVs sucking, turbo seals breaking, etc).

In the end, I recommend Go Autoworks for any turbo setup. They have a street kit with a cast iron manifold (not the best, but the kit's not expensive) for just under two grand I believe. All you would need to buy after that is bigger injectors and a Walbro fuel pump. Then, figure out what you want to tune with.

Good luck!

These are future plans as well, so it's not something that I am doing right now. I also will need to complete my A/T to M/T swap first before I can switch to forced induction...I have never seen an A/T Civic turbo'd, so...

^^^ because the torque converters cant hold up.. you will most likely have to change your clutch as well since your doing a swap.. they can be found for cheap if u shop around.

Thanks for the vouch killthisish and esotericimage.

Swapping to MT in advance is a definite plus.

If you need help even piecing the kit together feel free to ask.
