Im not trying to troll but my girlfriend just got a new honda and she is wanting to put some aftermarket parts on it. It is a 2008 dark blue 2DR honda. I already tinted the windows for her, but she would like tinted tail lights or an exhaust. What would be a good place to get STOCK looking tinted tail lights, or a muffler that sounds decent? I heard one with a magnaflow muffler that didnt sound too terribly bad, but any other opinions? Thanks...

She also wants wheels for it, are there places that sell take off SI Civic parts? I Know there are certain websites for mustangs that do that but im not sure if some places do that for these cars...

for the taillights go to a hobby shop, and get spray on tint, it comes in can and you just spray it on yourself. as for the exhaust get the SI performance muffler it sounds nice.

say no to spray on tint. i think it looks too flat and can start looking like crap after a few weeks or months. go on ebay and get some precut ones. ive had mine with reverse cutout for like over 2 years and no problem, insurance adjuster thought it was factory, and cops have said anything.

and i would suggest getting the HFP axelback, or even just the si axelback you cant really hear the si one after 3k rpms, well i cant, because i have an intake and it takes over lol.

Yea, spray tint is hard to get looking good. People do it to mustangs and i have not seen a job that i like. I just bought a pair of tinted tails off of ebay and they look exactly like stock, fit like stock, and it was cheaper than a set of factory originals. But ill check out that axleback, ive also been listening on youtube and ill check that out too.

I noticed youre in alabama aswell, you from birmingham area or what? I live in moody/pellcity to be exact.

I noticed in your sig you hvae foglights on your EX, whered you pick those up and how did you wire it?

I would just like to find a smashed SI and snag a whole lot of parts off of it for her. :D i think that would be the ticket. LOL

hah didnt even realize you were from bama, yeah im in centerpoint/trussville area. they are OEM fogs i got from ebay new for $169 a couple years ago. pretty much plug and play except cutting out the fog part in the bumper. i think i know what tails you got, and i like those, seen a couple in person and was impressed. i have the si axelback if you wanted to check it out, since you are local.

heres an exhaust shoot of 8th gen civics. most are Si's though, but mines at 4:10, 3:55 and later is all the R18's. setups are listed in the video.
