well ,my civic got stolen last night and im just expecting for the worst. Well my new idea for my next project is finding a 92 95 civic sedan shell, and boost either a D16Z6 or a D15B and use a Z6 tranny or Y8. My goal just like for my hatch is 200-250whp nothing crazy just a fun quick car that has a lil pep. I might be able to grab a greddy to5 turbo, if i cant i had either a 14B or T25 in mind since it is smaller and spool quicker. But the reason for this post is to hear some ideas , thoughts on this set up.

Buy a shell. Piece together a motor, piece together a turbo kit. It's fun...

na im goin to invest in low jack, kill switches, 2way alarm w.e i can to protect myself. But i know its very hard to find a shell with close to no rust. I just dont want quarter panels rusting like crazy, pretty much falling off

You can find a decent shell for cheap

Theres a local website where a guy was selling a si shell with 5lug for 2grand.. thats a deal right there, the body is mint and everything form what ive seen..

but anyways, get a nice shell and you can find a good motor for around 6-800 easily...
you should do what i was gunna do, 18g turbo with a sohc greddy manifold, good power right there, or a 15g greddy turbo will spool pretty damn quickly and will be good till about 250

is the greddy manifold a log style? I know there not all fancy but i was just looking to get a cast iron log manifold to jus even out the exhaust flow.

The greddy manifold is a cast iron manifold. Kind of like a Drag manifold, if you know what I'm talking about.

I plan on doing the same though. I have a son on the way, so I'm thinking of getting something family friendly ( 4 door ) and boosting it.

Looking forward to seeing some kind of project log!

well i had my ls swap in my build thread but i have my hatch back with pretty much just my dash and steering wheel. I dont want to see my hatch go out like that so i want to rebuild single cam boost. and thanks hazy for your input on the d16z6, ima research more on single cams that can hold boost well.. But please keep the ideas flowing its going to be awhile before the engine build really starts.
