so ive been posting all week about all the problems i had lowering my car. it took 3 nights and on the second me and my buddy got the front done and broke a bolt on the rear control arm. this was done all in his grandpa's garage and on day 3 i get a text at work saying itll be a few more days till we can fix it cause he worked on it alone and broke somethin else.

i go by that night to look at it and it turns out his grandpa just randomly went to his garage and finished the back for me. awesome i know. so we go to take it for a spin and hear this noise and i figured my axle was broke but the further we went it got worse so i had to stop.

i went and bought an axle and was gettin ready to put it on. i put the lug wrench on and haha there was only one nut on my tire.. turns out that when i put the tires on the night before to see what the front looked like i only tightened one lug. i asked him if he put the wheels on and he looked at me like i was stupid. i guess he didnt know lol. so it turns out i have been riding about 80 mph with both of my front wheels only on 1 lug.. lol scary i know..........

that happened to a buddy of mine a while back.
he came over wanting me to diagnose something on his sol and i drove it around and it was making the same noise as u explained...

i grabbed my lug wrench and tightened em up and told him he was good to go.

luckily he has extended studs so all the nuts were still there..

recipe for disaster though...

Same thing happened with me sort of. Did the front springs then went to do the backs and broke a bolt so we said f**k it. Then forgot to tighten up the front lugs.

yep. torquing your lugs should be the last step whenever you do any brake, suspension, wheel adjustments. live and learn, like me
