i have a d16y8 and i am thinking about putting a 14b turbo on it. i am just wanting to get some thoughts about the turbo and how good they are. thanks

my thots are that your going to custom make downpipe, and and manifold, and it would be better if you got a T3 super 60 as far as versatility. those are my thots.
its a stock turbo for 1g DSM Auto's. its a decent turbo but not capable of a whole lot. well maybe on a civic a little more lol
its going to spool really early and run out of steam on the top end. we put one on a built duel cam zc once for shits and giggles...it seriously made like 10psi @ 2k.
its on the manual ones

oh ya your right. lol DUH lol blonde moment. i have no idea what i was thinking and i own a DSM lol but still its not a bad turbo. its limited on how much you can pull out if it though.
i am looking to give my motor a little more get up and go cuz right now it is not as fast as i really want it to be. and my buddy just gave me this turbo for 100 bucks so i jumped on it. i know it does give to much boost but i do not really want anything to crazy cuz this is still my daily driven car.
