from what I understood, city officials "hire" an outside company to do it (or agree on a split profit). either way the company comes in and installs cameras, then they make their money and the city makes some money also.

lol jeez you guys are so lucky lol. cops suck in DE, ha. they really have nothing to do. im surprised i havent been pulled over for my exhaust is loud as s**t lol. the guy i bought it from was a rice burner and f**ked the car up lol. i have to fix all the things he did wrong. .. exhaust, intake, stereo system, transmission, ya... he messed it up pretty bad lol.
ugh cops. pulled over for driving with no headlights. the judge was in shock lol. she was like.. am i missing something? were you speeding? run a stop sign? anything else? lol i was like... no. haha.

I was at a pizza place. and i took off ... lit up area... forgot to put my lights on cuz i had been sitting in my car about half hour already eatin pizza. i go maybe 20 yards and i see the lights flash behind me..
He comes up and says.. hey do your lights work? im like... ya i noticed they were off when i pulled over. im sorry. and he is like... ok make sure you have them off... you passed me going about 60. (my car like i forementioned, is a rice burner!) there is no power to it. I was in 2nd gear first of all. so i was like... i was going 60!?! lol. and he says... well i dont know but you were rolling. and im thinkin like.. no s**t of course i was rolling. lol. he goes, the only way i even knew you were there is because of your exhaust. and im like ok. so he gives me a ticket. $63 fine including court costs and whatever. lol
BULLSHIT!

I was going over 70 in a 40 and came around a curve to fast (It was raining) lost control and wrecked into a fence (only got a scrape ob my bumper thank god!!!)... Luckly my car is low and it bottomed out in the ditch or I would have flipped into a tree... The cops couldn't prove how fast I was going bc there were no tire marks, and I told them I was going 35. So being douches they "had" to give me a ticket.
I was going over 70 in a 40 and came around a curve to fast (It was raining) lost control and wrecked into a fence (only got a scrape ob my bumper thank god!!!)... Luckly my car is low and it bottomed out in the ditch or I would have flipped into a tree... The cops couldn't prove how fast I was going bc there were no tire marks, and I told them I was going 35. 1st ticket - intentionally rolled a stop sign, only slowed down. 4pts, $175. Reduced to a 1pt defective vehicle, same fine.
2nd ticket('s) - a multitude of tickets piled on top of each other for my clutch that went out. LONG story short, i ended up with a total of 24pt's in tickets, and just shy of $1000 in fines. Went to court and got 3 of the 4 tickets dismissed, and the final ticket (8pt wreckless) dropped to a 3pt illegal u-turn and a $260 fine. At the time i tried to get the judge to raise the fine and drop the points even more, it's only money.
3rd/4th ticket - Pulled over in my truck for no front plate, resulting in no seat belt ticket. Damn things went up in price. My first one was 2 years ago, $15 ticket. The one i got a few weeks back was $75.

Apparently they're trying to get compliance lol. Well, it's sure worked for me. My seat belt is on every time I am in my truck now before i even start the damn thing. It's not even really that I'm trying to break the law, or cause problems. Just going from a full harness in my car, to a 3pt belt in my truck is uncomfortable and drives me nuts.

similar story back when i was in highschool a friday night late like 130 ish i would say hit the local jack in the box drive through with some buddies pulled into the parking lot ate our food and were just hanging out checkin out new mods on my civic and playin skate haha when about 7 cop cars fly into the parking lot get out with guns drawn whole nine yards.........someone called said we had a shotgun in the parking lot.....cops checked us the car and the area told us to go home

ive got 2 tickets and a crazy cop story. first ticket was 113 in a 45. lol it was a back road and i was 17 and had just gotten a z71 on a trade for a 240 i had and wanted to test it out well needless 2 say the cop heardme coming a mile away literally got ticket went to court told the judge due to large tires on my truck it wasnt capable of doing greater than 80(which was toal bs but it had mud tires and a 7 in lift) showed him pics of truck. then asked him to see the officers radar. turns out the little town i was blowing through didnt even have radar got it thrown out.
second one i was in a 99 camaro and was late for curfew and almost a hundred miles from home so i set cruise at 130 and passed a cop told myself if i saw blu lights catching up id pull over lol bever saw blue light other than when i first saw him lol
and cop story i bought a 92 integra was a good little car but it had abody kit and the guy lived down town so the kit was destroyed only payed a grand for it well i was driving it the day after i bought it and got surrounded by cops and taken to jail the guy had 15 warrents for his arrest and he left his tag on the car. took forever to get that one sorted out lol

I had a few when I was younger for speeding and a failure to control in my first accident. Most recent was seatbelt 6 months ago for $110.
i got a ticket for "excessive show of horsepower" - i launched in my dad's '72 'Cuda from a traffic light 
Some cop told me on this big street here in town, that he heard my car about a half mile away when everything is completely stock. He gave me a ticket for racing, but with who? went to court for it last week and got everything dropped because he couldn't come up with another car that i was "racing". long story short, he tried telling me he heard a stock civic 1/2 mile away racing
