Let me ask you guys.
My car is leakin oil from all over the place. Every seal needs to be replaced. The guys at Robbie Manns told me they will do it with the belts for $850. The engine has 184k on it. Is it worth it, or should I buy a b20 or another b18b and get the tranny done at the same time?
SO for them to do both it was $850 for the seals and belts and $600 to swap the tranny.
Is this something one of you guys could do, a whole engine/tranny swap?
I would rather have one of you or one of your friends for cheaper.
if you are going back with the same motor it's very easy...i've swapped my buddy's d17 in his em2 before...just plug and play on the harness...do you have an auto tranny now? if you want to swap to a five speed it's not that hard...we can do it. just let me know what your intentions are and we'll make it happen man.

ok well then if that's the case....you're going to have to find the shift linkage, clutch pedal assy, brake/clutch cylinder (if you go with a hydraulic tranny)...if you go with a cable trans just have to get the cable and get the right clutch pedal assy...it's all about what your budget is but the auto is definitely easier but the manual isn't hard just a little extra work considering your car is an automatic

well i have a b18a already....i was going to ls/vtec turbo but i decided against ls/vtec because of some of the reliability issues that are sometime encountered. reason why i'm looking for a b17 is because it's a square engine (equal bore to stroke).
