Cop forgot to make me sign a ticket

ticket for speeding and driving under a suspended liscense
get the suspension taken care of
cop forgets to make me sign ticket
what should I do?





Okay so last week I got pulled over for doing 59 in a 40....(I know) anyway the cop was a nice dude and said I can't give you a warning cause of your speed but I'll drop it to 55 so I was like cool. Well he comes back to my car and informs me my liscence is supended so h has to right me a citation for that as well and my buddy will have o drive home. The susension came from my sr22 saying I didn't have insurance when I did so I went to the bmv and showed them the paper and she was like "okay your good to go" so I had that cleared up. Now my question when I have to go to court in the morning will they throw it out because he didn't make me sign anythng or what should I do, should I plead no guilty or no contest or guilty?

you should be able to get off the hook. i got my ticket dismissed because the cop didnt bring his notes to court. so im sure something like not signing the ticket would do the same thing.

dont worry about it and deny it all you didnt sign it therefor it didnt happen i doubt you will even get a notice on it

just take it and say hey he didnt ask me to sign the ticket, but im here to take care of it, who knows they might say, well since your honest, we will let you slide, but i doubt it

i hate when people have this attitude. just like 253 and redline, if it was YOU, both of you would make a big ass deal of it and try to get out of it. but when it comes to someone else you try to act all high and mighty and say they should man up and pay it.

Cop was already nice to you and gave you a favor. Driving with a suspended license could of gotten you into a bigger mess.

Sorry, but don't try and say I would. I have paid for all the tickets I have gotten without fighting them. I did it, I dealt with it. I didn't run to the court house for a stupid reason like me not signing the ticket. I especially wouldn't waste my damn time making a thread about it.

I was guilty of it, I'll take care of it. That simple. If you can't handle a hundred dollar ticket, don't f**king drive or learn to drive correctly. It took me several tickets to get that in my head. There is no "high and mighty" with me. I speak my own opinion. You think what you want, doesn't bother me.

So, you quit saying, "so and so's are acting big and tough online, but when they would get a ticket, they'll b***h and moan." Cut that stupid s**t out.

i dont drive illegal,iv never got a speeding ticket, cause im not a retard ricer ass person acting like they have somthing to prove in a f**king 4 banger civic, iv got 2 tickets both were stupid ass seatbelt tickets, but i paid them and didnt b***h about it, and if i was speeding, i would pay that also, so yah stop whining and pay your damn ticket,

Wow I don't se anywhere in this thread that I was whining ... I was just asking everyones opinion and now everyone freaking out I'm just saying if you got a ticket and the officer made a mistake and you could ha e gotten out of it but opted to forget it and just pay you are missing out on an oppurtinty that doesn't happen often. Regardless I was just asking peoples opinions jeez

Dont feel like reading other peoples responses.... You dont have to pay ticket. If they write the wrong date than the ticket is invalid, you not signing it eliminates the whole thing.

I've gotten out of three of them just by fighting. But here in MA it's pretty simple. Guilty or Not Guilty. If Guilty, send in the ticket with a check (or pay online), and insurance adjusts accordingly. Or Not Guilty and send that in alone and you get a court date to show up with JUST you, the magistrate, and usually the cop. No bullshit trial s**t like in NY where they read everything out in front of everyone and it takes 242424 hours to get your damn headlight ticket corrected (went though this 2 weeks ago, major PITA)..

3-0 me. *knocks on wood* And one of them was in NY... 2 hours later, and one angry judge (guy before me had his license suspended for DUI and was fighting it.. angrily), I was out of my $351 exhaust ticket.. because I told them I got rid of my exhaust... no proof needed. ha
