Worth anything?

I have a Fiber Images CF hood and I found that they don't make them anymore. "Fiber Images" is in raised lettering on the top of the hood. Is it worth keeping or if a friend wants to buy it should I sell it?
Also how are the ViS racing CF hoods?

if your looking at getting another cf hood then why not just keep the one you have?? and as for how much its worth hard to tell without pictures. depends on the condition mostly

I would say no...they are actually a highly reputable dealer with the Mazda3 and Mazda6 hoods and offer them in a few different styles...I have seen quite a few in person and they look much better than the VIS hoods IMO...very nice pieces...

screw off haters look it up.. its the lightest CF hood made, its like new, and they dont make it anymore. It has no underskeleton at all.

Just because they don't make it anymore, doesn't make it automatically make it special. It doesn't work that way unless there is a high demand and not enough supply. I am guessing that because other companies are making the same product, it is going to be harder asking more for it. Like anything of this nature, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

95% of customers would take a $350 hood over a $800 hood if it appears to do the same thing. it's the 5% that are willing to pay for higher quality top of the line parts. because of the small market, manufacturers tend to discontinue those items and move on to some other product for a while. Mugen discontinues their parts after only a couple years of manufacturing them b/c most people can't afford their stuff so they just buy replicas or something else completely different
